After more than 30 years of loyal service, Kathy Tindell is retiring from Eaton Sales & Service. Starting as a service dispatcher and growing into roles like service manager, construction admin, and ultimately office manager, Kathy has been an integral part of the company’s success. She reflects on the strong sense of family at Eaton, the company’s evolution, and the many valued relationships she built with colleagues and customers alike. As she embarks on this next chapter, we extend our deepest gratitude and best wishes for a well-earned retirement!

Kathy’s Parting Words

I began my career with Eaton over 30 years ago when they purchased C&S Equipment. I began as the service dispatcher and eventually became the service manager and construction admin. I held that position until about 3 years ago when I was moved to Office Manager. During that time, I had the privilege of working with some amazing people at Eaton. It didn’t matter if it was one of the Travis family, management personnel, field personnel or just one of us grunts; we were made to feel like family. And every five years our time with the company was celebrated with an awards banquet.

I have watched the company grow and expand. The overall feel of the company has changed as the younger generation has stepped in, but this has allowed them to meet the ever-changing market with new and fresh ideas and allowed them to remain a driving force in the Petroleum industry.

During my time with Eaton, I also got to know many of our customers very well. They kept me on my toes and kept me busy. After moving to the office manager position, I no longer had as much contact with customers but still heard from many of them. I want to thank all of you for your contributions to making my time with Eaton a very meaningful experience and for the well wishes that I have received.

I have worked with some fantastic people; current and retired and some that moved on whether as Eaton employees or customers. I will miss working with you and want to wish all of you success in your future endeavors.
